Faux Mink, Mink, Silk, Synthetic Lash Extensions - what is the difference and how do I select?
When selecting lash extension fiber, consider your natural lashes. Are they short, thin, dramatically long or thick? A consultation with your technician will aid in determining the type best suited for your natural lashes.
Faux Mink
Faux mink lash extensions are a vegan friendly synthetic eyelash extension that are made to look like mink hair. They are designed to be lightweight and soft, and they can be used to create a natural or dramatic look depending on the length and thickness of the lashes used.
MINK
Mink eyelash extensions are a type of lash extension that are handmade and derived from a mink’s tail hairs. They create a light, feathered, fluttery, natural appearance and are reportedly the most comfortable on the eyes.
SILK
Silk eyelash extensions are lighter weight, allowing them to flex and taper to perfection. Light, fine, and more flexible than synthetic lash extensions, but not as fine as mink. Silk lashes have a shorter taper than mink natural lashes, meaning the body of the lash is thicker at the base. They are designed to mimic the natural bend of your eyelash.
Lash Extensions
Extensions are semi-permanent lashes that are hand-bonded, on top of your natural lashes, with a non-irritating waterproof surgical bonding agent that is designed to withstand sweat and oil. They are designed to remain intact for the average growth cycle of natural lashes, around six weeks. |
Lash Extensions Touch-up
Touch-ups can help eliminate the gaps that begin to make your lashes look a little ragged and less neat. We recommend this service to be done every two or three weeks to fill in the gaps and maintain your thick-lashed look.
|
Lash Extensions Removal
Is it time to remove your extensions? Avoid pulling and tugging on your lashes. Our service will gently and painlessly remove your last extensions without damage to your natural lash.
|
Lash Flare Extensions
Also referred to as clusters and fans are a type of false eyelashes that are applied to the root of the eyelashes with temporary lash glue. Lash flares are usually used to create a more dramatic look. They are not designed to be worn when showering, sleeping, or swimming.
|
Lash - Strip
Strip lashes are a type of false eyelashes that come as a strip of lashes. They are designed to be applied to the entire lash line and are usually used for special occasions or events.
